While release details have yet to be announced a few new images of adidas upcoming retro release of Dikembe Mutombo's signature shoe from 1992 have surfaced.
The shoe featured a upper with African style graphics which paid homage to his his roots and, fit right in with the 90s hip hop scene when groups like A Tribe Called Quest lead the way. Check out the new images below.

Despite it being the most technically advanced basketball shoe ever made the reception to the Air Jordan XX8 has been heavily mixed. As a result when a new colorway is released it's often under the radar.
Such is the case for this "Carbon Fiber" colorway that dropped today. Featuring a zippered exterior sock with carbon fiber print and hits of bright crimson on the midsole, laces, and mesh liner.
The Air Jordan XX8 Carbon Fiber is available now with a suggested retail of $250.
Jeff Staple's Iconic "Pigeon" colorway has been resurrected and applied to the also iconic Puma Suede model.
Featuring a tonal grey suede upper with hits of orange throughout, the Staple Pigeon logo embossed on the heel as well as "Puma Pigeon" on the upper side panels.
Limited to only 500 pairs World Wide with a retail set at $200 the Staple x Puma Suede Pigeon will first release in store at Reed Space in New York on April 17, 2013 with a World Wide release set to follow on May 3, 2013.

Allen Iverson's first signature shoe the Reebok Question returns this month in three new colorways in the Canvas Collection.
The collection is comprised of a Royal Blue/White, Red/White and Black/White tonal colorways. Each features a single dominate colored canvas/leather upper with a contrasting white midsole.
Look for the Reebok Question Canvas Collection when it drops at select retailers April 16, 2013.

Producer/Rapper Swizz Beatz took to his twitter account and posted the first hint at the return of one of the most popular signature models worn by Shaquille O'Neal the Reebok Shaqnosis.
Last worn in 1996 with his final season with the Orlando Magic the Reebok Shaqnosis has been one of the most requested models to be retroed. It looks like sneakerheads will finally get their wish as these are expected to drop sometime in 2013.
